Catching Up: Gardens, Giveaways and Art

What a week.  I wasn't so busy, but I was busy enough to not have time to blog as much.  My job is getting busier, so that will take some of my time.  I also wanted to take time this week to give myself a break.  During my off-line time, I did get my garden planted.  Which also encompassed Westie Wednesday.  I've been slack there, too, I know.  Daisy and Gracie were right there helping out, though.  Here's the garden update:
The Seedlings
The Blueberry Bushes
The beds
Farmer Chris and Daisy surveying the area
Okra and cucumbers
Gracie and Daisy
I'm very excited for the coming months to reap what we've sewn.  A few more things are going in today.  We've got tomatoes, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, okra, peperocinis and we'll add some German Johnson tomatoes, lettuce and bell peppers today.  We should have a great harvest throughout the summer.

I'm also involved in a new project.  A friend is opening a Wine and Design in the Triad.  Not only will I be teach a couple of classes a month, I'm also working on social media for them as well.  If you'd like to know more about Wine and Design of the Triad, go HERE.  There are also locations in Raleigh and Wilmington.  So if you're in NC, you're in luck!

Finally--Have you entered the For Pete's Sake Giveaway yet?  What are you waiting for?  Go HERE to enter.

Happy Saturday, friends!

xoxox,
Laurie
